Clos de vougeot castle
Located less than 20 minutes by car from our gîte, Château Clos de Vougeot is a must-see in the region. Classified as a historic monument, this symbol of the history of Burgundy is particularly known for its surrounding vineyards and its Renaissance-style building.
Hospices de Beaune
This hospital institution brings together a historic monument and important wine estates. Discover the old sick rooms, from the 15th century to the 20th century. The Hospices are also an architectural gem. Burgundy vineyard Climats
The climates of the Burgundy vineyards
Discover the thousands of vineyard parcels cultivated in Côte-d'Or since the Middle Ages. Listed as a UNESCO world heritage site, the Climats are worth discovering at least once in your life! The Maison des Climats is the exhibition not to be missed to understand the history and work around the vineyard.
Edmond Fallot mustard mill
This independent, family-run Burgundian house practices the ancestral know-how of the artisan mustard maker. We suggest you reserve your places to discover the museographical space dedicated to the tasting of this cult and local product.
The villages of the Côte-d’Or
Less than an hour's drive away, Bèze and its magnificent medieval houses around its source, or Sémur-en-Auxois, a high-perched town... There is no shortage of charming villages in the region and we will be delighted to talk you about them!
Gastronomy in the Côte d'or
Époisse, Brillat Savarin, Citeaux… For cheese lovers, there is a lot to taste in Burgundy. Charolais beef, distinguished by an AOC, is also a speciality of our region, often tasted as beef bourguignon. And of course, snails and wine!
On request, we reserve your visit to the museographical space of the Edmond Fallot mustard mill. In sporting terms, we can also book the town's tennis court, and for those who would like to enjoy the gîte peacefully, several activities are also possible.
